Speedex Courier: setup guide
Create Speedex courier vouchers and print labels straight from your Shopify orders. Questions? Write to speedex@wharfapps.com.
1. What you need
- A Shopify store.
- Your own Speedex business account, with a username, a password and a customer/agreement ID. Speedex opens the account, not us: visit www.speedex.gr or use Speedex's online form. Test access is part of Speedex's onboarding.
- The app asks Shopify for access to your orders and to the receiver's name, address and phone, because the voucher needs them.
2. Install and choose a plan
Install the app from the Shopify App Store. You choose a plan in Shopify, with a 30-day free trial, and Shopify bills you. See the current plans and prices on the app's Shopify page.

3. Settings
Open Apps > Speedex Courier > Settings.
- Add your account: enter the username, password and customer/agreement ID exactly as Speedex gave them, then press Test.
- Environment: the app uses Speedex's live (production) environment by default, so vouchers are real. For a trial run choose the development (test) environment: no real parcels are created and Shopify never emails tracking to your customers.
- Cash on delivery: list your COD payment method exactly as your orders show it. The app warns you if it cannot find it.
- Defaults: parcels, weight and other defaults for new vouchers.
4. Create a voucher and print the label
- Open an order and choose More actions > Create Speedex voucher, or use the Speedex Courier card on the order. Check the receiver, parcels, weight and cash on delivery, then press Create voucher.
- The tracking number and Speedex tracking link are added to the order's fulfillment, so your customer receives them.
- Print the label from the order's Print menu. On Pro you can select many orders, create all their vouchers and print one PDF.
5. Automatic vouchers (Pro)
Off by default. When on, vouchers are created for paid orders; cash on delivery orders are skipped. Open the Shipments page to see every voucher, and the orders that were skipped or failed, with the reason.
6. Who charges what
The app subscription is billed by Shopify. Courier charges for your parcels are billed by Speedex under your own agreement, and are not paid through the app or Shopify.
7. Help
Write to speedex@wharfapps.com with your shop address and, if you can, the order number. Never send your Speedex password.
